Euthanasia should be legal in our country

Euthanasia is a really hard topic to talk about, and I don't understand why. It is quite simple, everyone should be able to decide over their own body, life, relationships, etc.

First, what is euthanasia? euthanasia is a procedure that consist in intencionally cause the death, painless, of a person, following their will. There is different ways to do it, and in Chile direct, passive euthanasia is legal, but active euthanasia is not. I'm going to refer to the second euthanasia the rest of the text.

People that demand euthanasia as a human right doesn't want that everyone kill themselves, on the contrary, they want to make sure that everyone that is alive is because they want, not because they don't have an option.

The people that is against euthanasia think that if it is legal, a lot of people is gonna die and maybe that wasn't the right choice.

It is important to know that not because something is legal necessarily means that people is gonna do it, it only means that you have the option to do it. In this case, euthanasia could help people with a diagnosed terminal disease, old people, etc.
